GONE GREEN
Green is the new, hot color in automotive paints. Dingmans Ferry’s
premier auto body shop has taken a proactive step in protecting our
beautiful environment by converting to waterborne refinishing products.
Waterborne paints not only protect our environment by reducing
hazardous air emissions but improve worker health and safety.
An additional benefit is that because many of today’s cars are painted
at the factory with waterborne base coat, many find the color match and
overall appearance is considerably improved over solvent borne base coats.
Standohyd, a Standox (Dupont) waterborne is our chosen paint product. Standohyd
has been perfected in Europe for years and with our techs trained in the
waterborne application technique our customers are assured a quality repair.
Our recently completed addition allows us ample room to service a growing community.
During the construction, and recognizing the danger of above ground propane tanks to
fireman, we buried the tanks to reduce hazards to them in the event of a catastrophic fire.
Recognizing the financial hardships many face locally we now offer free estimates.
For many people their vehicles are the most valuable asset they own and since 1982
we have performed quality repairs and restorations with that in mind.
